Rejection Gets Accepted!
Making its World Premiere to the crowds at the 2009 Phoenix Film Festival, Official Rejection recently became the first film officially given the green-light by the fest.
Rejection takes an intriguing look at filmmakers along the festival circuit or more precisely "the politics, pitfalls, costs, and toll of life at the fests." As the press release continues, the film's goal of the film is to illustrate "what happens once you finish a movie, the reality of today’s film festival landscape, and the emotional roller-coaster those who dare to venture onto it find themselves riding."
Directed by 2006's Best Screenplay recipient Paul Osborne (Ten Til Noon) and featuring interviews with Usual Suspects helmer Bryan Singer, Clerks, Chasing Amy and Zack and Miri director Kevin Smith, Jenna Fischer from The Office and many others, Official Rejection also contains a candid look at the 2006 Phoenix Film Festival as well.
